Nico is a Machine Learning Engineer at Xtract One, a Canadian technology company developing the next generation of threat detection systems. Nico obtained his Masters degree in Data Science from the University of British Columbia. As part of his Masters degree, Nico completed a capstone project with TRIUMF, Canada’s largest particle accelerator centre. His capstone project involved using deep learning techniques to classify sub-atomic particles. Nico is a triathlete, and is currently training for Ironman Canada.
